The Project

A company was seeking clarification on the niche market of point-to-point shipping of luggage and sporting gear. Specifically, the client wanted to get a list of companies working in this niche as well as which companies they partner with.

Specific Area of Interest

The client was eager to gain insights on point-to-point luggage and sporting gear shipping on a number of axes, including for customers of cruise lines, ski resorts, golf resorts, hotels, and airlines.  

More specifically, the customer wanted to better understand the freight forwarding capacity of shippers as well as their capabilities and logistics. Furthermore, our client wanted to combine and compare this information with how it looks from the point of view of companies providing this type of shipping as a concierge service for their guests.

Our Impact

After performing due diligence, we were able to connect the client with several seasoned experts with years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, air cargo providers, and the logistics of point-to-point shipping of luggage and sporting gear.  

Thanks to the insights provided by these experts, the client was able to gain a much clearer understanding of how this industry works, including which companies offer it to their guests and the logistics of how luggage and sporting gear is transported from point to point.
