Medical Tourism in the Gulf Region

The Project

A company wished to expand its knowledge of the medical tourism sector in the Gulf region. The overall goal was to get insights into current trends as well as the impact of recent geopolitical events on healthcare practices and travel.

Specific Area of Interest

The client was particularly focused on medical tourism to/from the six Gulf countries and other countries such as Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan. In particular, they wanted to do a deep dive on life-saving interventions such as oncology and heart surgeries.

Our Impact

We were able to come up with a list of experts with more than 10 years of experience in the field, including professionals who understood the regulatory and medical travel landscape, giving the client a far clearer understanding of the current state of this unique sector.
